An Ethiopian nobility sword covering. Done in weighty silver and gold gilded, which dates it around 1900-1930. This decoration would be placed on the swords when they had to go on parade in front of the Emperor to show their pledge, dressed in full gear, such as the Lion skin cape, Lions or Baboons manes with silver headgear.
