Examples of pendants, from Ethiopia. An old silver Thaler type, Coin of Emperor Menelik II. The portrait has been carefully and skilfully sawn out, hung on another necklace of the Kaffa silver beads, and a strong shaped Maltese/Shoa Cross. These shapes of crosses are also to be seen on the walls of some graves of Maltese knights who lived in that area.
