Necklace – Ethiopia/Eritrea

A piece of ethnic wear of contemporary composition, a long necklace worn across the body. Made using a mix of silver Jimma/Kaffa beads, silver protective telsums, pendants and amulets, with an earspoon and silver coin of Emperor Menelik II with tiny bells. Finished with tomato red, treated Bakelite beads.
