A display of the refined filigree worked beads of Ethiopia. The two upper right are old ones from 1930s. The upper left one and the bottom middle & left are copies from the 1980s. They are of silver known as Felash, meaning pure silver. To make the filigree so refined it has to be very bendable, normally in Ethiopia they work in 835 as the highest context.
