A rare amulet box from Rajasthan, India. Can be opened on the side. The backside shows a flower, which usually stand for the Tree-of-Life: the roots in the underworld, the stem in our world and the flower with the gods. Silver, glass stones. 4,5cm x 4,4cm, Length of the chain 49cm. The chain is recent, the amulet beginning 20th century.
